Google Chrome, Things I like, and Things I hatePosted September 5th, 2008 Google on Tuesday released the beta version of its new open-source Chrome Web browser. here is my list of likes, hates, and wishes for the new browser: Things I like : 1. Performance and Speed, Chrome uses new multi-threading techniques to isolate resources on a tab basis. while Firefox 3 has introduced a big improvement to memory management, Chrome still beats Firefox when too many tabs are loaded. 2. Simplicity, the UI is very simple, and efficient, tabs are on top of everything, address bar and search bar are merged into one. |
